Slučaj ABC vrtića; "dosje nikad nije zatvoreno", majka žrtve traži nastavak istrage

The mother of Jonathan de Jesús de los Reyes Luna, one of 49 children who died in the 2009 ABC Daycare fire in Hermosillo, rejected President Claudia Sheinbaum’s comments on the case, stating that the investigation has never been closed. Juanita Luna accused the administration of relying on an 'incorrect information card' and emphasized that the case remains open, urging the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to continue investigations and hold responsible parties accountable. She criticized the lack of communication to families regarding any closure and called for meetings with prosecutors to clarify the status. Luna noted that while some individuals have been sentenced for omission, others remain unidentified for causing the fatal blaze. Legal representatives from the collective Manos Unidas por Nuestros Niños clarified that the Supreme Court’s recent ruling does not reopen the case but provides new legal momentum for ongoing investigations.
