The well-known Serbian writer Vladimir Arsenijević was physically attacked by a group of approximately 20–30 unidentified individuals under Branković Bridge in Belgrade. According to reports from the Croatian portal Index, the assailants hit him on the head and body, threatened him, and took his mobile phone. Arsenijević confirmed the incident to the media and described being immediately surrounded by a group of young men upon exiting his taxi. In addition to the physical assault, the attackers vandalized the area under the bridge, writing graffiti that glorified wartime criminal Ratko Mladić and the Army of the Republic of Srpska.
