"What I admire most about Tom's Spider-Man is the way he represents this character even in real life," she said. "Many people, especially children and young adults, relate to Peter Parker and Spider-Man."

During a global fan event held at the STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam on June 17, 2026, Holland shared that he had a tattoo that was eventually removed from the final cut of the film. "I have a tattoo and an interesting story behind it. It's located on the lower part of my calf; it's the emblem of Spider-Man from the first movie. I had it spread across the entire lower part of my leg. There was a scene where I was hanging upside down without any clothes on, and it was very challenging to film. During the VFX meetings, everyone would say, 'Yes, the clothes are gone, it looks amazing.' But they could still see the tattoo on my lower leg. They finally decided to remove it entirely from the final version of the movie," he explained.

The film *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* takes place in a world where the existence of Peter Parker/Spider-Man is no longer known following the events of *Spider-Man: No Way Home*. Zendaya commented on how much both actors have grown since they first took on these roles in *Spider-Man: Homecoming*. "What has been truly interesting about this movie, specifically, is that back then we were much younger and not as deeply involved. The movies were almost formed before we started our work. But now, Tom is connected to these films in a completely different way. He is part of everything, every decision regarding the return of these characters to our screens. He is exceptionally committed. You would find it hard to find someone who understands these movies better than him," she said.
