Začenja se zahtevnejša faza obnove vipavske hitre ceste H4

The main phase of a major renovation project on Slovenia's high-speed motorway H4 between the split at Nanos and the exit in Vipava is set to begin, leading to several months of traffic restrictions. The project, managed by DARS, involves significant infrastructure upgrades including resurfacing, repairing the Rebrnice viaduct, adding wind protection structures, installing retaining walls, and placing new safety barriers. The work is expected to run from July 6th to mid-November 2026. During this time, the motorway will be partially closed, with traffic redirected onto parallel roads and special measures implemented to manage freight and emergency vehicles. The project is divided into two phases totaling over 60 million euros without VAT, carried out by a consortium involving Kolektor CPG, Petrič, and subcontractors. Measures such as traffic lights, bus route adjustments, temporary traffic controls, and speed monitoring are planned to minimize disruption while improving road safety and resilience against strong winds.
