Yeonjun holds first US solo concert at LA's storied Troubadour

Yeonjun, a member of the K-pop group Tomorrow X Together, delivered his first solo concert in the United States at the iconic Troubadour in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The performance took place at a venue known for hosting legendary musicians such as Elton John, Harry Styles, and BTS. This event marked a key moment in Yeonjun’s growing presence in the American market, following a series of high-profile appearances and releases. The concert was part of Billboard’s “One Night Only” live special, which broadcasted the event to a wider audience. Yeonjun began with the lead track from his second EP, No Labels: Part 02, followed by songs such as “Ice Cream,” “Vanilla,” and “Fxxking Star.” For the first time, he performed the explicit version of “Fxxking Star” live. Additional tracks included “Baby Wassup?” and “Long Way Long Ride,” culminating in an encore featuring his solo mixtape song “Ggum.” The Troubadour has long been a landmark for musical debuts in the U.S. Elton John made his American debut there in 1970, Harry Styles performed his first solo concert at the venue in 2017, and BTS played their initial U.S. show at the Troubadour in 2014. He became the second Korean solo artist, following BTS’ Jungkook, to perform on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Summer Concert Series. Additionally, he was the first Korean artist invited to participate in Z100’s Summer Bash Presented by Wells Fargo. These appearances highlight his increasing visibility and acceptance within the American entertainment landscape. In addition to the concert, Yeonjun released the music video for “Fxxking Star” on Thursday. Later that same day, he participated in a ceremonial first-pitch ceremony at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game against the Milwaukee Brewers as part of Korean Heritage Night.
