World's First Commercial Multimodal LLM for Cultural Tourism Enters Broad Application

The world's first commercial multimodal large language model (LLM) for cultural tourism, named BoGuan, has begun widespread use in Xi'an, China. Developed through collaboration between the Shaanxi Culture Industry Investment Group (SCG), Huawei, China Telecom Shaanxi, and China West Airport Group, BoGuan leverages AI and 5G-A technologies to enhance cultural tourism experiences. The model supports the creation of digital intellectual property for intangible cultural heritage, improves short drama production, and enables interactive tools like an AI travel companion agent used by over 4 million users. BoGuan's capabilities include generating high-quality content about cultural relics, digitizing traditional crafts, and creating digital IPs such as the cartoon character Tang Biaobiao. Its applications extend to cultural tourism apps like AI photography and virtual historical scene integration, contributing to the economic value of cultural tourism data.
