West Bank: New clashes in the town of Kusra

In the West Bank village of Kusra, tensions escalated again after Israeli settlers have been besieging Palestinian homes for weeks. According to the Israeli army, dozens of Israeli aggressors took refuge in a Palestinian house while Palestinian residents were present. There were reports of violent confrontations, including stones being thrown at Palestinians. The security forces arrived at the scene and initially acted against the aggressors to remove them from the house and separate the groups to protect the people inside. Vehicles belonging to the Israeli aggressors were seized and handed over to the Israeli police along with other evidence for investigation. Meanwhile, Palestinian media reported that the settlers were protected by soldiers during the attacks, and several Palestinians were injured by pepper spray used by the settlers. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that more settlers arrived during the incident and set nearby fields owned by Palestinians on fire. Radical settlers have been besieging multiple Palestinian homes in Kusra for three weeks, and according to residents and activists, the Israeli army has not taken effective action against this.

Bias read (Center): The article presents both perspectives: the Israeli military's account of their actions to protect civilians and the Palestinian media's report of settlers being protected by soldiers.
