The value of construction works carried out in the Czech Republic increased by 13,5% in the second quarter

The value of construction work completed by companies with 20 or more employees and their own workers in Croatia during the second quarter of this year increased by 13.5% compared to the same period last year, while the value of new orders decreased by 4.3%. According to data released today by the State Statistics Office (DZS), total construction work in the second quarter was valued at 2.2 billion euros, of which 1.46 billion euros were carried out by companies with their own workers, and 735.3 million euros by subcontractors. Of the work done by companies with their own workers, 62.8% was on new developments, and 37.2% on other types of construction. New orders in the second quarter totaled 1.6 billion euros, with 948.7 million euros on buildings and 639.1 million euros on other constructions. The report also notes that over the first six months of the year, the value of completed work with own workers rose by 12.8%, while new orders increased by 4%.
