On Saturday, June 27th, members of the parish of St. Jerome in Vojnik participated in a pilgrimage to Dolnjska. The journey began at Baraga's birthplace in Knežji village near Dobrnič, followed by visits to several churches including the Church of St. George in Dobrnič, where Friderik Irenej Baraga was baptized (celebrating the feast day of St. Irene). They then visited the church of St. Mohor and Fortunata near Maša, which was donated by Anton Perger with the collaboration of permanent deacon Karli Brezovšek and altar servers. The parish priest, Father Franc Vidmar, presented the parish and bishopric along with notable people from the area. After lunch, they continued to the basilica in Brestanice, where military chaplain Jože Špes welcomed them and shared the basilica's history. Following prayers of the Litanies, they moved to Seno, where parish priest Tomaz Sojc introduced the life of the parish.
