VLAHOVIĆ AND UNICEF HELP OVER 1,700 YOUTH! A great victory for the Serbian ace on and off the field

Over 1,700 young people across Serbia participated in a mental health support program organized by UNICEF and the youth organization OPENS, made possible through the financial and public support of Serbian footballer Dušan Vlahović. The initiative included workshops, awareness campaigns, and connections with professional services, equipping participants with skills to manage their mental health and seek help when needed. The program was implemented in 15 cities, with Vlahović’s support enabling its launch in the first four cities, setting the foundation for further expansion. Beyond funding, Vlahović actively promoted the campaign, speaking at conferences about the importance of mental health for children and adolescents, and emphasizing the role of family and environment in overcoming life challenges. The project aims to continue expanding into new areas and strengthening the network of educators to ensure more young people receive support in recognizing help-seeking as a sign of strength rather than weakness.
