Ministerstvo zdůraznilo, že tato opatření umožní udržení slev pro nízkoemisní vozidla i v roce 2027. Současně pokračuje projednávání senátního návrhu, který by změnil fungování jednodenní dálniční známky. Nově by nebyla vázaná na kalendářní den, ale platila by přesně 24 hodiny od okamžiku nákupu. Vláda také připomněla, že oficiální e-shop pro nákup elektronických dálničních známek nově funguje na adrese edalnice.gov.cz. Přesun pod státní doménu gov.cz má řidičům usnadnit rozpoznání oficiálního webu a omezit případy, kdy lidé nakoupí známku prostřednictvím zprostředkovatelských webů, které účtují dodatečné poplatky. Tato změna je součástí snahy zlepšit transparentnost a ochranu spotřebitele.
Zároveň bylo zmíněno, že vláda, která vedená Petr Fialou (ODS) zavedla mechanizmus automatického zdražování, ho zrušila.
