TotalEnergies ENEOS has commissioned a 28 MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Samsung Electronics' HCMC CE Complex in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This project is the first and largest rooftop solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) under Vietnam's Decree 57 DPPA framework, utilizing a private-wire arrangement. The system includes nearly 45,000 solar PV modules and is expected to generate over 40,000 MWh of renewable electricity annually, covering approximately 26% of the site's electricity needs and reducing CO₂ emissions by over 500,000 tons during the 20-year agreement. The project supports Samsung Electronics' RE100 sustainability goals and highlights collaboration between TotalEnergies ENEOS and Samsung to advance industrial decarbonization. Representatives from local authorities and international consulates attended the commissioning ceremony.
