According to reports from the Meteoinfo Slovenia Facebook page, a hailstone the size of a walnut was recorded in Drago, Loški Potok. The event also caused damage in forests. On the Facebook page Neurje.si, the effects of a tornado were reported in the area around Voklev on Gorenjska. Prior to this, there had been reports of a strong thunderstorm cell over Nova Gorica and Straža, with heavy rain and strong winds. The most intense weather occurred in the eastern part of the country, particularly along the border with Croatia, while later in the afternoon, storms affected the northwest and southeast regions. By evening, the weather calmed down. In the coming days, the weather is expected to improve, though some showers and thunderstorms are still anticipated.
