According to police reports, the accident happened around 11 a.m. near Blatno, involving a 28-year-old driver of a personal car and the teenager riding the electric cross-motorcycle. The car driver suddenly turned left and collided with the front of the motorcycle, causing both riders to fall and sustain injuries. Police investigators found that the teenager was using an unregistered electric cross-motorcycle and did not wear any protective gear during the ride. This lack of safety measures significantly increased the risk of injury during the collision. Authorities have launched legal proceedings against both the car driver and the teenager’s parents. The driver faces charges related to causing the traffic accident, while the parents will be investigated for neglecting their duty of care and supervision over their minor child. The police highlighted the increasing trend of parents purchasing or allowing the use of powerful electric vehicles such as cross-motorcycles, scooters, and modified mopeds that exceed legal speed limits.
