SpainIn 2018, Muhammad Jader, who grew up under Israeli blockade in Gaza and was inspired by online videos of circus activities abroad, decided to bring his knowledge back to his community. After a decade of effort to acquire necessary tools, he founded 'El Circo de Gaza Libre' with nine other Palestinians. The initiative aimed to spread circus culture among children and youth through workshops and courses based on what they learned online. They established their humble space in the Yabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Eight years later, the project has grown to include 480 students, despite the ongoing challenges of life in Gaza.
