A 23-year-old man was arrested in Šibenik-Knin under suspicion of illegal drug production and trafficking. The arrest followed a coordinated operation by police officers from the Police Directorate and the Drug Crime Unit. During the operation, authorities noticed suspicious behavior and decided to intervene. The suspect was found in possession of a large quantity of various drugs, including cannabis, cocaine, and MDMA. The total amount seized included 199.32 grams of cannabis in one bag and 215.43 grams distributed in 47 packages, along with 3.36 grams of cocaine, 147.7 grams of MDMA, 6.09 grams of MDMA in crystal form, and 124.2 grams of MDMA in 108 bags. Additionally, 101 bags containing 485 MDMA tablets were discovered. The police also confiscated a weighing scale, a mobile phone, and a significant cash amount. The suspect has been taken into custody for further investigation and will be handed over to the pre-trial supervisor of the Šibenik-Knin Police Department. A criminal report will be submitted to the state prosecutor’s office in Šibenik.
