The police in Šibenik have recovered two stolen yachts from Sweden, valued at approximately 220,000 euros. The vessels were discovered on July 30th in the area of Šibenik. The operation involved officers from the Šibenka-Knin and Split-Dalmatia police departments, as well as the Police Directorate. Both yachts had forged markings. Authorities highlighted that the knowledge used to identify the boats was gained through international education on boat thefts held in May in Split, organized by FRONTEX and hosted by the Police Directorate. This training included specialists from Germany and FRONTEX experts, and contributed significantly to solving the case.
