CroatiaIn Gospić, Croatia, the children’s kindergarten 'Pahuljica' officially opened two new rooms and renovated spaces to accommodate more children. The project was funded by the city of Gospić and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds, totaling €124,000 for construction work. Additional funding of €35,000 came from the Ministry of Demographics and Immigration and the city for furniture and educational aids. As a result, all registered children now have guaranteed spots in the kindergarten. Additionally, 40 socially vulnerable families were exempted from paying for childcare services. Over the past two years, the city has invested around €300,000 in the kindergarten, which currently cares for 499 children.
