Two more QNET representatives arrested in Hyderabad investment fraud case

In Hyderabad, India, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Hyderabad Police has arrested two additional individuals suspected of being independent representatives of QNET/Vihaan Direct Selling (India) Private Limited in connection with an investment fraud case. The accused, Padamati Surender Reddy and Parwinder Singh, were apprehended on July 31 and brought to Hyderabad on transit warrants. According to police, these individuals misled two families into investing approximately ₹28 lakh ($30,232) in a multi-level marketing scheme by falsely presenting it as a legitimate international e-commerce and direct-selling opportunity. The investigation uncovered that the victims took out personal loans to fund their investments, and the accused concealed the true nature of the business, which operated via a binary-chain multi-level marketing model. Additionally, QNET accounts and emails were reportedly created in the victims' names without their consent, and they were pressured to recruit new members.
