ZATwelve South African Police Service (SAPS) members were injured and a motorist was killed in a collision on the N1 freeway near Polokwane. The crash occurred around 7pm on Friday near Astron Filling Station, involving a sedan traveling northbound and a SAPS minibus. The sedan reportedly veered out of its lane, leading to the collision, after which the minibus caught fire. The driver of the sedan died as a result of the accident. The injured SAPS personnel were transported to various medical facilities for treatment.
