Three years after his conviction, Dr. Oskar is only behind bars.

The article discusses the case of Franjo Keleminović, known as Dr. Oskar, a Croatian doctor who was sentenced to prison in Slovenia for the murder of Ajda Avi Curk in 2013. Thirteen years after her death and three years after his conviction, he has finally served his sentence in Croatia. The New Gorica District Court confirmed that Croatia has recognized the legal validity of the Slovenian court's judgment. The court had previously called on him to serve his one-year prison term but he attempted to avoid incarceration through various maneuvers. Recently, Slovenian authorities sent an European arrest warrant to the appropriate Croatian agencies, which would have allowed for his arrest and transfer to Slovenia.
