COThree Colombian lawyers, Paloma García-Reyes Meyer, David Jiménez Peña, and Daniel Páez, were selected among 1,800 applicants from 15 countries for the first edition of the World Jurist Young Program. The program, organized by the World Jurist Association, the Fundación Tatiana, and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, aims to train young legal professionals in protecting democracy and the rule of law. Each lawyer has extensive experience in human rights, constitutional law, and institutional strengthening, with work in challenging environments such as conflict zones and high-crime areas.
