After the visit of US envoys, Russia does not rule out resuming trilateral dialogue with Ukraine to end the war

Russia has not ruled out resuming trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States to find an end to the war, following visits by American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv over the weekend. Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that there are no defined plans yet for where or when new meetings might take place. The three countries had previously held consultations in February. Kushner expressed hope that negotiations between the three parties could resume, citing previous rounds as productive because they allowed Russians and Ukrainians to directly present their positions. The last round of trilateral talks took place in Geneva in early February. The Kremlin noted that it had not received information about the outcomes of discussions between U.S. envoys and Ukrainian authorities.
