Trapped minibus driver rescued after accident in Bedok

A minibus driver was rescued after being trapped in his vehicle following a collision involving a lorry and three cars in Bedok, Singapore. The accident occurred near the intersection of New Upper Changi Road and Bedok South Avenue 1 on September 7 at approximately 1:35 pm. The driver, along with two other individuals, a 35-year-old car driver and a 31-year-old lorry driver, were taken to the hospital, all of whom were conscious. Emergency services, including the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), responded to the scene and used hydraulic tools to free the trapped driver. A photo shared in a local Facebook group showed significant damage to the minibus, including a damaged front door and bumper. Investigations into the cause of the accident are currently underway.
