At midday, a protest was set to begin at the Hospital Infantil de México "Federico Gómez," heading toward the Secretaría de Salud. This demonstration was organized in response to the proposed candidates for the hospital’s new directorship, who reportedly face allegations. The gathering coincided with the meeting of the Government Board tasked with appointing the new director. Simultaneously, a group promoting LGBTQ+ rights planned to gather at 10 a.m. at Plaza San Antonio Tecómitl and the National Center for Arts for the “Pride Caravan” event. The purpose was to celebrate and raise awareness about the community's diversity, free love, and the demand for their rights, while encouraging respect, inclusion, and equality. At noon, representatives from the initiative Libertad para Morir were expected to meet at the National Center for Arts to collect signatures supporting the citizen proposal known as the “Medical Assistance for Dying Law in Mexico City.” This law aims to allow patients suffering from advanced or incurable illnesses to receive assistance for a dignified death. The Propuesta Cívica group was scheduled to appear at 11:30 a.m. at the Commission for Human Rights of Mexico City. This event marked the fulfillment of recommendation 19/2019 by the Commission, during which the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City would offer a public acknowledgment of responsibility and apology. Plataforma 420 was planning a demonstration at noon near the Monument to the Mother on Avenida Cuauhtémoc and División del Norte, as well as along Gran Canal and Circuito Interior. Their activities included collecting signatures, spreading awareness about cannabis rights, conducting workshops on risk reduction, and holding discussions on human rights and cannabis legislation. At 1 p.m., aspiring students applying to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) were expected to protest at the Rectorate Tower. Content creators were scheduled to attend the Chamber of Deputies for an open parliamentary session titled “For More Human Social Networks.” During this session, they intended to present a legislative initiative aimed at bringing about genuine change in the digital environment, ensuring that social media platforms become safer and more ethical spaces for all users. Throughout the day, the Regeneración Sindical organization planned to hold a demonstration at the headquarters of the Institute to Return What Was Stolen. Their goal was to establish signature collection tables opposing the general secretary of the Mexican Electrical Workers Union.
