Tihomir Ladišić leaves N1 TV after 12 years: We agreed that it was the right time

Tihomir Ladišić has officially left his position as news director at N1 Hrvatska after 12 years with the network. The departure was confirmed by both Ladišić and the management of Adria News Network, which operates N1 Hrvatska. In a statement, Ladišić expressed gratitude for the time spent working alongside colleagues and wished the team continued success. He emphasized that he had built a foundation for the channel’s growth and journalism over the years. The move follows mutual agreement between Ladišić and the leadership of Adria News Network, according to statements released by both parties. Ladišić announced his decision in a public message, stating that after 12 years at N1 Hrvatska, he and the management of Adria News Network had reached a consensus that it was the right time for him to leave. He praised the work done together since the channel's inception and thanked the talented colleagues he worked with. He also extended his best wishes to the entire N1 team for future success. Sadler highlighted Ladišić’s role in shaping N1 Hrvatska into a respected news organization. Sadler also wished Ladišić success in the next phase of his career. Ladišić was born in Zagreb in 1966 and graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. He furthered his education in the United States at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. His long-standing journalistic career began at Croatian Radiotelevision, where he worked as a journalist, war correspondent, and editor for programs such as Slikom na sliku, Dnevnik, and Otvoreno. From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a producer and journalist at the American Fox News Channel. He was also involved in creating Croatia’s first 24-hour news channel, 24sata TV. Over the years, he has reported from conflict zones including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo. Ladišić’s tenure at N1 Hrvatska marked a period of significant growth for the channel. As news director, he oversaw the production of daily news broadcasts and helped establish N1 as a leading news outlet in the region. His experience in international journalism and crisis reporting brought credibility and depth to the network’s coverage.
