Telegram's Durov says 'extortionists' pushed Apple to remove messaging platform from App Store

Telegram’s co-founder and chief executive, Pavel Durov, claimed that Apple removed the messaging app from its App Store following pressure from individuals he described as “extortionists.” According to Durov, Apple acted unilaterally without consulting Telegram’s team before taking the action.
