T’gana man out on bail for pregnant wife’s murder killed by her brother

A 26-year-old man named Chittari Haribabu, who was out on bail for allegedly murdering his 19-year-old pregnant wife Vaishnavi, was killed by her brother Santosh in Telangana’s Nizamabad district. The incident occurred on Thursday evening at a crossroads when Santosh, who had previously posted a video on social media claiming responsibility for the murder, ambushed Haribabu with a machete. Vaishnavi, a popular YouTuber known as 'Vaishu Amma,' died in a suspected murder-suicide after a dispute with Haribabu, which escalated during her pregnancy. Haribabu was arrested two days after Vaishnavi's death but was later released on bail. Following his release, Haribabu was working in Anantapur when he was killed. Police confirmed that the attack was captured on CCTV and are investigating the circumstances. Santosh surrendered to police on Friday and is being questioned.
