The SYRREO 2026 festival, now in its 22nd year, continues to position Syros as a prominent cultural destination through a varied lineup of opera, chamber music, theater, and educational events. The International Classical Music Festival of the Cyclades, which has been recognized by UNESCO since 2025, is noted as the island's longest-running classical music event and among the oldest in Greece outside of Athens.
