A study conducted by the Technical University of Munich has sparked debate over the environmental benefits of electric vehicles (EVs). The research found that EVs produce 41 percent less carbon dioxide than internal combustion engine vehicles, but still emit some CO2 due to emissions during production and recycling processes.
