Students to receive personalized AI English lessons in upcoming year, Education Ministry says

All high school students in Israel will begin receiving personalized AI-driven English lessons starting in the next academic year, according to the Education Ministry. This initiative is part of 'Project 720,' aimed at transforming the Israeli education system through the integration of AI and tailored learning experiences. The program was tested in 28 schools during the previous school year and will expand to 180 schools nationwide. According to the ministry, AI systems will help identify learning gaps, provide real-time feedback, and adjust lessons to individual student needs while ensuring teachers remain central figures in guiding the educational process. Merav Zarbiv, director of the Education Ministry's Innovation and Technology Division, emphasized that the project focuses on placing both students and teachers at the core of the learning experience, shifting away from a one-size-fits-all approach.
