A two-day campaign to collect hazardous waste will be held in Blagoevgrad

The municipality of Blagoevgrad and 'BalBok Engineering' AD are organizing a two-day campaign for collecting hazardous waste from households on June 6 and 7. The mobile collection points will be located at various locations in the city, including Saint Ivan Rilski Street, Macedonian Square, Elenovo neighborhood, Western neighborhood, and Strumsko neighborhood. During the campaign, items such as mercury, devices containing mercury, varnishes, paint materials, household chemicals, ink, contaminated packaging, and expired medications will be collected free of charge. A similar autumn campaign is planned for October 12 and 13. A previous campaign was held in early April for collecting hazardous waste and discarded electrical and electronic equipment.
