Kandev told me he wanted to work in the private sector to pay his mortgage.

Former head of the Ministry of Interior Georgi Kandev has submitted his resignation with the intention of finding work in the private sector to pay off his mortgage. This was revealed by Internal Minister Ivan Demerjiyev during an interview with 'Dnevni Red.' According to Demerjiyev, Kandev did not mention any issues with his work and stated that they had worked well together. The conversation took place on June 8, shortly before Kandev submitted his resignation. Kandev handed Demerjiyev a folder containing his resignation letter. During the interview, Demerjiyev expressed suspicion that Kandë
