The International Street Art Festival 6Fest took place in Sofia on July 1 and 2 at the park of the National Palace of Culture (NDC). The event featured street performances, circus arts, and light parades, with artists from Bulgaria, Germany, Chile, and Argentina participating. All events were free to attend and supported by the Sofia City Council. On the first day, performances included acts like Slamproject from Chile and Pibe90 from Argentina. The second day highlighted the German troupe Stelzen-Art from Bremen, known for their stilts-based theater, who performed 'Flying Time Travelers' with daytime and evening light processions. Inspired by steampunk aesthetics, the performance transformed the urban environment around NDC into an unusual theatrical stage. This was the first independent festival in Bulgaria dedicated entirely to street performance art, having held 20 editions across 10 Bulgarian cities since its creation in 2017.
