The sailing competition 'Gotland runt' has had its start delayed again due to bad weather conditions. Originally scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM in Sandhamn, the event was postponed to 4:00 PM because of strong winds expected to reach up to 25 meters per second. Club director Stefan Rahm from KSSS stated that further delays might be necessary depending on the weather forecast. This marks the second time in the history of the competition since 1937 that the start has been postponed. The event features 186 teams and boats from various countries, all waiting in Sandhamn for the race to commence.
