Split police in action: They confiscated as many as nine electric cars

The Split police conducted an operation over the past few days, seizing nine electric scooters in Kaštel and Split due to violations of road safety laws. Among the scooter owners were minors. On Monday in Kaštela, three electric scooters were confiscated because they had engines exceeding the allowed power, capable of reaching speeds above 25 km/h. In Kaštel Lukšić, a 26-year-old driver was stopped for not wearing a helmet and received a fine while his scooter was temporarily seized. In Kaštel Kambelovac, a 29-year-old was caught driving a similarly powered scooter without a helmet, and in Kaštel Gomilica, a 49-year-old faced the same fate. Six other drivers, including minors, were stopped without their high-speed scooters, primarily in the evening on Monday in Ulica Domovinskog rata.
