After more than two years of legal proceedings, she has been placed into a diversion program that requires her to attend specific classes and could result in a fine. She is scheduled to return to court on August 25. The incident took place on February 24, 2024, when police were called to Club Elan due to a report of a physical altercation. According to the police report, Alaia attempted to enter the staff restroom despite being told otherwise. The situation quickly escalated. Waitress Haleigh Cauley later told the magazine Us Weekly that Alaia had asked to retrieve and change a tampon. She allowed her several minutes in the restroom, but upon returning, a bizarre incident reportedly unfolded. Alaia allegedly removed the tampon and threw it toward the waitress. The situation became part of a chaotic argument within the club. However, the problems did not end with the waitress. According to the police report, while exiting the club, Alaia reportedly pulled the hair of one security guard and tore out some strands, and struck another in the genital area. Police noted that she resisted efforts to remove her from the premises. Initially, Alaia denied throwing the tampon, but later admitted doing so while claiming self-defense against the guards. Following the incident, she was detained, and multiple criminal charges were filed against her. The case resurfaced in early 2026 when it was revealed that Alaia might face up to a year in jail due to the charges stemming from the incident. However, the latest development is more favorable for her. Her entry into a pretrial diversion program has given her the opportunity to resolve the case without going to prison, under the conditions set by the court. Meanwhile, the family of Justin Bieber continues to celebrate milestones. Their son, Jack Blues Bieber, turned two years old. On Saturday, his mother, Hailey Bieber, shared a photo of their birthday breakfast on Instagram. The image featured pancakes topped with frosting and candles. Two pancakes were shown, each with two pink candles burning. Accompanying the post was a song by Justin Bieber titled “Everything Hallelujah,” which he previously dedicated to his son.
