The 26th annual Smotra folklora folk festival took place in Otočac, organized by the Gacko People's Open School since 1999. This event is the largest of its kind in the Lika-Senj County and brings together local and guest folk groups to showcase material and intangible cultural heritage. The festival featured traditional costumes, music, and dance performances, including the selection of the most beautiful woman in traditional attire and the most original traditional men's costume. Folk ensembles such as 'Dangubice' from Kuterevo, 'Brinje' from Brinje, and 'Šiljakovina' performed throughout the two-day event. The festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Otočac, the Lika-Senj County, and other sponsors.
