Russian officials attributed the damage to Ukrainian defense systems, claiming that a failed American Patriot missile system caused the destruction. This explanation contradicts evidence presented by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), which released images showing debris from a Russian drone model called Geranium-2, an Iranian-made drone used by Russia.
