Russia has blocked Ukrainian ports.

Ukrainian ports along the Black Sea have been effectively blocked for two weeks, severely impacting agriculture and some mining operations. The blockade could seriously threaten the entire economy, with experts predicting further deterioration of Ukraine's already negative trade balance, increased inflation, and currency depreciation. This situation began after Maersk, the world's largest container shipping company, decided on July 22 to stop sending ships to Ukrainian ports due to threats of Russian attacks. Previously, only four ships arrived daily at Odessa port, but escalating Russian attacks have driven those away as well. The Russian defense ministry recently boasted again about their actions.
