Bhati was subsequently taken to the Special Operations Group office, where he alleged that police personnel assaulted him and suspended him upside down by his feet. Another party worker, Mohit Jatav, who accompanied Bhati, also reported being assaulted. They had visited Pandey to request the removal of their names from a first information report related to a violent protest in July. Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was returned to Adiala jail on Friday after a brief stay at an Islamabad hospital. The move followed a Supreme Court directive requiring him to undergo a medical examination within 48 hours. Khan had been hospitalized earlier in compliance with the court’s order, which mandated his treatment until September 16.
