Darko Rundek, rock singer, songwriter, poet and actor, will perform with his Quintet at the Malo Brijuno on Thursday, July 24, as part of the Ulysses season, according to a statement from the Ulysses Theatre. Instead of new songs, he plans to feature tracks from past albums that have remained in the shadows, describing them as beautiful pieces that deserve recognition. Rundek graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb with a degree in theatre directing and began his musical career with the group Haustor. He launched his solo career in 1995 and has won five Porina awards. He has also composed and produced film scores and occasionally appeared as an actor. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with Nigel Osborne in plays staged at the Ulysses Theatre. The performance at the Malo Brijuno promises to be more than just a concert.
