Festival Rudi Potepuški, ki se v letu 2026 zahvaljuje za svojo bogato programsko ponudbo, je postal centrom kulturne aktivnosti v Novem mestu. Ključni element tega festivala so bili akrobati, klovni in drugi ulični umetniki, ki so zaposodili Glavni trg v Novem mestu. Ta zgodba je bila del širšega kulturnega programskog plana, ki ga organizira novomeška Založba Goga. V okviru rezidenčnega programa so bili gostili 12 ustvarjalcev, ki so se usmerili v ustvarjanje v drugem mestu ali državi. Program je vključeval šest tujih in šest domačih pisateljev, urednikov, fotografov in drugih. Financiranje je bilo zagotovljeno iz sredstev, ki so jih dobili na razpisu ministrstva za kulturo. Program je bil predstavljen na novinarski konferenci, kjer so izpostavili mednarodno značilnost in raznolikoščino, ki ju znači.
Festival je vključeval tudi predstavo *Ivanov*, ki je prejela prvo nagrado občinstva. Predstava, ki je bila premierna izvedena v Galeriji Bažato v Ljubljani, je bila v dialogu z razstavo Marka Šajna *Tempo, tempo*. Scenografski okvir predstave je postavil igralce kot figure v kompoziciji, kar je ustvarilo močno povezavo med gledališčem in vizualno umetnostjo. Oglejmo si tudi drugi primer, ki je bil predstavljen v okviru festivala *Zlati lev* – predstava *Ana Karenina* skopskega Teatra Komedija, ki je bila brutalna in iskrena priredba Tolstojeve klasike. Organizatorji so naslovil program *Na robu pameti*, v katerem so se predstavili tudi Gledališče Koper s predstavo *Živeti!* v režiji Marjana Nečaka, ki združuje dve enodejanki Antona Pavloviča Čehova – *Medved* in *Tragik po sili*.
V okviru festivala *Spider*, ki je bil 15. festival sodobnega plesa in performativnih umetnosti, so bili predstavljeni različni umetniški projekti, ki so pokazali raznolikoščino sodobne umetnosti. Med nami so bili tudi razstava *Sanje, ki jih ne pozabiš*, ki je bila prikazana v galeriji Equrna. Konceptualno izhaja iz prepričanja, da je avtorski podpis sam po sebi zadosten argument za prisotnost v prostoru. Razstava je vključevala sedem umetnic, vsaku s svojim svetom – Uršulo Berlot, Ninu Čelhar, Ksenijo Čerče, Metko Krašovec, Dubo Sambolec, Natašo Segulin in Nejo Zorzut. Gledalec v razstavo vstopi skozi kompozicijo *Imaginarnih skirmionov* Uršule Berlot, ki ne uvaja razstave v klasičnem smislu, ampak jo takoj postavi v stanje lebdenja med materialnim in projiciranim, med telesom in svetlobo. Kar sledi v drugem prostoru galerije, ni nadaljevanje, ampak soočenje. Razstava je bila na ogled do konca julija.
V Berlinu so bile razstavljene umetnosti portretiranja v Slikarski galeriji. To je bilo del širšega kulturnega programskog plana, ki je vključeval tudi razstavo *Željka Beljana in Aleksandre Saške Gruden* v Zagrebu. Umetnika sta z objekti in videom galerijo spremenila v svojevrstno igrišče, kjer umetniška dela niso nedotakljivi artefakti na zidovih, ampak sugestije in skupki pravil za premikanje obiskovalcev ter njihovo raziskovanje fragmentov, ki so na ogled. Razstava je bila na ogled do 3. julija. Aleksandra Saška Gruden, akademska kiparka, je v svojem delu pogosto raziskovala vprašanja identitete, zgodovinskega spomina in družbenega položaja. Željko Beljan, vizualni umetnik, je v svoji praksi raziskoval fenomen ročnega dela in njegov položaj v sodobnih umetniških praksah. Razstava je nastala v sodelovanju Hrvaškega društva likovnih umetnikov (HDLU) in Društva likovnih umetnikov Ljubljana (DLUL).
Na Blejskem gradu so odprli dve razstavi akademske slikarke Ejti Štih, ki že več kot štirideset let živi in ustvarja v Boliviji. Umetniška cikla *Muzika v Galeriji Stolp* in *Vida v Bitenčevi dvorani* pripovedujeta dve različni zgodbi, s katerima slikarka spaja različne svetove v zgodbe, ki se dotikajo nas vseh. Slikarka je v nagovoru izrazila veliko zahvalo Zavodu za kulturo Bled, njegovi direktorici Lea Ferjan in podžupanu Bleda Iztoku Pesrlu. Umetnica je v svojih slikah izražala predanost glasbeni umetnosti, kar je bilo razvidno tudi v odprtju razstav, kjer je na kitaro zaigral njen mož Lucho Fernández de Córdova. Razstava *Vida* je bila posebna umetniška postavitev, ki je imela naslov, ki je v španskem jeziku izraz za življenje. Slikarka je v svojih razstavah izražala občutljivost za človeka, zanimanje za zgodbe in sposobnost, da skozi barvo in podobo odpira prostor za razmislek, dialog in empatijo.
