Starting from Laško, visitors can choose between parking near the Tri Lilije building or at the local fire station, both of which provide convenient access points to the trail. For those preferring public transport, a train ride from Laško station to the fire station adds about fifteen minutes of walking before the marked path begins.

The journey itself is a blend of urban and natural landscapes. From the fire station, the path leads through Badovinčevo Street towards the chapel, where a sign indicates the start of the ascent. Along the way, there are brief segments on macadam and asphalt roads, but these soon give way to the cool shade of the forest. Today, the lodge stands as a year-round destination, open daily except Mondays. Additionally, it includes facilities such as a football pitch and a volleyball court, making it ideal for families looking for a full day of recreation. On July 11th, the lodge will host a special event as part of the "Laško Gremo v hribe" movement, featuring live music performances by Rok Piletič, Bepop, and the ensemble Glas.

The event marks the continuation of the 17th season of the "Laško Gremo v hribe" initiative, which connects nature enthusiasts with Slovenian music.
