The play 'King Lear' by William Shakespeare, which has been performed by the Ulysses Theatre for over 26 seasons since its debut in 2001, will conclude its run on August 9 at the Great Brijuni. Rade Šerbedžija, who has played the title role for over two decades, will retire from this iconic role. The event will feature a roundtable discussion moderated by journalist Branimir Pofuk, with contributions from theatre director Lenka Udovički, theatre critic Nataša Govedić, and others involved in the production. The occasion will also mark the presentation of Govedić’s book 'Learovanje,' which documents the history and artistic journey of the play over the past quarter-century. Several actors from the production and members of the Mostar Sinfoniette and Putokaz ensemble will participate in the event.
