Case against the accused of murder Danke Ilić sent to the Court of Appeal in Nis

The Higher Court in Negotin has referred the case against Dejan Dragijević and Srđan Janković, accused of the murder of two-year-old Danka Ilić on March 26, 2024, to the Appellate Court in Niš for decision on the appeal filed by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar. Previously, the court confirmed the indictment against Dragijević and Janković for the serious crime of murder but rejected the charges and suspended the criminal proceedings against Radoslav Dragijević, Dejan’s father, who was suspected of helping his son hide the girl’s body. The defense of the accused did not file appeals against the decision of the Higher Court in Negotin. The Appellate Court in Niš upheld part of the indictment related to Dragijević and Janković but annulled the part concerning Radoslav Dragijević and returned it to the first-instance court for reconsideration. The indictment, based on additional investigation ordered by the Appellate Court in Niš after returning the decision twice, accuses Dragijević and Janković of committing the crime of serious murder in complicity. The prosecution proposed that the court sentence Dragijević and Janković to life imprisonment. It is believed that the

He shook hands with the victim and fired 6 shots, a red envelope!

The Belgrade police are intensively searching for N.K. and his accomplice D.Dž., who fled after brutally killing Darko Vesković, known as 'Prika' (45), in the neighborhood of Kumodraž. The direct perpetrator has been placed under a red Interpol wanted notice, while the investigation also points to individuals suspected of providing logistical support after the crime. The murder occurred on June 22 at a café in Kumodraž, where the attacker approached Vesković, shook hands with him, then shot him in the head and back with six bullets. At least seven witnesses were present during the attack. Vesković was killed while on legal outdoor exercise outside his house, which had been under electronic monitoring since June 2024. He had spent six years in prison for the alleged assassination of Blaža Đurović, a prominent member of the Kavač clan, in March 2018. The higher court in Belgrade ruled in 2024 that Vesković, along with an unidentified person, shot Đurović dead with 29 rounds from an automatic rifle. Vesković was initially sentenced to 15 years but the appellate court overturned the verdict due to issues with the DNA evidence presented.
