The Slovenian Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) has launched a public tender to fund preventive projects aimed at maintaining occupational health and promoting well-being at work for the period 2025–2027. Over 450 applications were received, with 13 mid-sized or large employers' projects and 20 micro and small employer projects selected. A second round of the tender was issued in September 2025 specifically for unions, resulting in three national-level and five regional-level projects being chosen. A total of €5.1 million is allocated for these initiatives, with €1.785 million designated for employer projects and €3.315 million for union projects covering 2026–2027. The evaluation committee included experts from ZZZS and external professionals in occupational health promotion.
