The Slovenian Food Safety Authority, Veterinary Service, and Plant Protection Office detected the presence of egg proteins in imported instant chicken cutlets from Serbia that were not listed on the product label. This poses an unacceptable health risk to individuals with allergies to egg proteins. The contaminated food was not released into the Slovenian market but was instead distributed entirely to a French recipient. The results of the analysis were forwarded to the relevant French authority.
