A firefighter was injured in the sour water fire.

A fire broke out at a warehouse or other premises on the Southern Boulevard in Skopje’s Kiselica neighborhood, near the Market Inspection and approximately one kilometer from the city center. The fire was localized and brought under control within an hour by the Fire Brigade of Skopje Municipality. One firefighter was injured during the intervention and was immediately taken to a clinic. Officials reported hearing crackling sounds, likely from electrical equipment, and black smoke was visible from afar. Multiple fire trucks and an ambulance were present at the scene, with trees being cut down. The smell of burning could be detected throughout Kiselica. In September 2022, several barracks nearby Rampe in the city center were destroyed by fire, and while there were suspicions of arson to facilitate construction, the mayor at the time stated that there was an active Detailed Urban Planning document in place. Construction on a building began at the site of the burned barracks months later.

Bias read (Center): The article presents factual information about a fire incident and its aftermath without overtly favoring any political stance. It includes quotes from officials but does not frame the event in a way that suggests a particular political agenda. While the mention of past fires and urban planning may觸

Why these scores (Factual 85 · Objective 75): Factuality is high as the report aligns with cross-source consensus on the fire incident, location, and casualty. Objectivity is slightly lower due to the inclusion of quotes from officials that may imply a narrative about urban planning, though not overtly biased.
