Injured young tennis player sues national championship organizer

A 16-year-old tennis player claimed that the organizer of the national tennis tournament was responsible for his injury during a doubles match. The teenager alleged that the organizer failed to ensure a safe playing surface or prevent the game under the given conditions. He sought compensation of around €18,600. However, the court ruled that the incident occurred in an area of the court where players rarely move, and that the organizer had taken standard measures to ensure the court's suitability. The court concluded that the accident was an unfortunate coincidence within the normal risks of outdoor tennis, which cannot always be perfectly controlled. The injured player has since appealed the decision.

Bias read (Center): The article presents a balanced legal judgment regarding a sports-related injury claim, focusing on the court's reasoning rather than taking a partisan stance. It reports both the plaintiff's allegations and the court's counterarguments based on objective criteria such as safety standards and risk评估
